Xiaomi Launched its Mi series Flagships including Xiaomi Mi 8, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition and also a Mid ranger Xiaomi Mi 8 SE on May 31st. Out of these Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition was the one that stood out. That’s because Xiaomi adopted a new approach where it made the back of the glass Transparent. The Glass is not entirely transparent because Xiaomi also admitted some digital trickery in achieving the feat. Everyone was anxiously waiting for the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition to go on sale. The wait is over because we have an invitation poster that say that Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition will go on sale on July 24th.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition also comes with pretty impressive specs. It has a Super Amoled 6.21 inches display with FHD+ resolution with a notch. The notch houses the 3D Face recognition hardware being called Face ID just like we have on Iphone X.In addition to Face ID phone also boasts an Under Display fingerprint sensor. Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition has Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at 2.8GHz along with 6/8GB RAM options.

There is Dual camera on the back with a combination of 12+12MP with apertures of f/1.8 and f/2.4 while the secondary camera has a telephoto lens. The front camera is a whooping 20MP sensor assisted by AI for stunning selfies. The Battery is 3000mAh and it has a USB Type C and supports Quick Charge 4.0+. There is no Headphone Jack. The smartphone is also first ever to come with Dual GPS capabilities.
