It brings all the iconic Sony aesthetics we are used for many years now.The design in particular remains the same,a rectangular brick with sharp edges. The phone has same aluminum build and is surprisingly heavy and weighs 205 grams. There is a large circular camera sensor on the back with circular fingerprint sensor right below it might be a little above than we are accustomed to.

With Huawei P20 Pro scoring as high as 109 on DXO Mark every smartphone company certainly has to upgrade their camera department. Samsung seems to be the first to understand this. So they have decided to up their camera game. First we had rumors about a possible triple camera setup on the rear with a third wide angle sensor being a possibility.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Concept
Now we are hearing about a possible dual camera at the front of alleged Samsung Galaxy S10+(Beyond2). Two immediate possibilities come to mind about its purpose. We know that Samsung might be ditching Iris scanner in favor of 3D facial recognition just like on Apple’s Face ID so that second camera will be for facial recognition. Second purpose simply being portrait photography where the second camera might act as a depth sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Dual Front Camera and 3D Facial Recognition
Well Samsung might not be the first to include a dual camera at the front as HTC U12+ as well a Galaxy A8 have it but it certainly will be the first to have 5 cameras on a smartphone.

Honor note series is a premium flagship series that comes with high end features but at a price lower than the flagships. We have been seeing leaks about a huge device coming from honor but we had no information about the internals nor we had any information about a Launch date.
Honor Note 10 Coming soon
So Yesterday Honor pretty much made official that Honor Note 10 is coming by the help of an online poster. The other thing that poster shows us is that Honor has skipped Note 9 and they are launching Honor Note 10 instead. The only reason behind this is that they want to keep this in line with their other Flagship series launch of which already happened in the form Honor 10.
Honor Note 10 Geekbench Score
After this announcement from huawei we also got the Geek bench score of a new device with Model number HUAWEI RVL-AL09 while RVL most probably suggests Code name Ravel we came to know about couple of months ago. The Geek Bench score is pretty similar to what we have on Honor 10, Huawei P20, P20 Pro and also the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro which simply means that this is bigger version of Honor 10.
Honor Note 10 Renders
The device will most probably have a 6.9 inches Amoled display with 1440p resolution which is great. The geek bench also reveals a couple of other things like 6GB RAM and an Octa core CPU We also get to know about android version which is 8.1 oreo. We have also been hearing about a large 6000mAH battery inside the phone which seem to be kind of a long shot as with a processor that efficient they don’t have to put a large battery because it will make the smartphone extra heavy but who knows it might actually be true. With all these leaks piling up the launch seems pretty imminent. So cross your finger something big is coming. Stay tuned.
We have been seeing leaks and renders about Nokia X5 for a month now. Finally we have a launch date and it turns out that smartphone will launch officially on July 11. Another interesting thing is that the global version of the phone will launch as Nokia 5.1 Plus instead of Nokia X5 similarly as we are getting Nokia 6.1 Plus globally not Nokia X6.
Nokia X5 TENAA ListingNokia X5 Spec SheetNokia X5 Spec Sheet
A while back the phone leaked on TENAA and we got to see the design of the phone. Along with a spec sheet. First of all phone will have a notch and the display resolution will be HD plus not Full HD. The processor will be clocked at 2.0 GHz which indicates that we are going to get a mid ranger with snapdragon 600 series or may be Helio P series. The phone will come with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Rear camera comes out to be a 13+5MP combination. Battery will be 3000mAH which is average.
Nokia X5 Press Render
Now we have fresh renders in our hand which pretty much show all the design elements. Yes phone resembles a lot to Nokia X6 but there still are some subtle design changes that differ it from X6. First of all we are most probably getting a plastic back with X5. Secondly the notch at front is pretty wide than the one we have on X6. So this is pretty much that we have on X5. A couple of days to go until official launch. Stay tuned.
Xiaomi announced Redmi 6A last month with decent specifications for a budget smartphone. It comes with a 5.45 inches bezeless display with HD resolution. The camera at rear is a 13MP while at front we have 5MP sensor. The battery is 3000mAH and it comes right now with 2GB RAM and 16GB on board storage while it also supports micro SD expansion. To check full specifications Click here.
Xiaomi Redmi 6A
Starting from July 10 smartphone will be offered in a new 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. While the price will still be lower than Redmi 6’s 3GB version. This is good given that the phone has a hybrid sim slot meaning that you can’t really expand the storage without sacrificing second sim. So this is all for now.
We are half way through the year and we are already seeing a lot of leaks about the next year’s Galaxy S10. Most of these are related to the cameras of course. First we heard that this years Iphone X might feature a three lens camera but it does not seem to be the case. Instead we are already seeing concept showing the rear of galaxy S10 with three cameras.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Concept
The interesting thing to notice here is that there is no fingerprint sensor on the back. We are also hearing rumors that there might be a side mounted fingerprint sensor on at least one model of the Galaxy S10. By one model we mean that Samsung is possibly making three models for upcoming Galaxy S10,one with a single camera, second with a dual and third one with a triple camera setup.Yeah it seems odd but we should cross our fingers for smartphone world is very uncertain.
Table of Contents
Camera Configuration
Samsung Galaxy S9 plus came with a Dual camera setup. The setup includes a primary camera that has a variable aperture, it goes from f/2.4 in daylight to a whooping f/1.5 at night. So by an aperture (f/1.5) that big the camera is able to take in more light than usual making the photos even brighter than they should be. It is pretty useful. The second camera is a telephoto lens enabling two times lossless zoom. Both cameras come with OIS(Optical Image Stabilization) which is also quite handy.
Samsung Galaxy S10’s Three Cameras
Now the third camera is where things will start getting even more interesting. S sources claim that Samsung is thinking of putting in a wide angle lens with 113 degrees field of view with a resolution of 13 or 16MP possibly with no OIS. If Samsung does that, believe me that camera combination will become the most useful ever in a smartphone. LG’s been doing wide angle camera for like forever and it’s been really useful. So we will have to wait and see what the future S series smartphone brings our way.
With the introduction of bezel less smartphones in 2017 every single smartphone manufacturers started looking for a way to push the bezels at top and bottom more and more. But there were certain limitations like the front camera, earpiece and other sensors that made the complete removal of bezels impossible. Some moved the camera to the bottom while others took the help of a notch to house all these modules but both these approaches were criticized.
Iphone X and Mi Mix 2
Recently Oppo a smartphone OEM came in with most innovative approach yet. This involves the whole top of the phone popping up and out of the chassis to reveal the rear dual camera, front camera as well as the 3D facial recognition sensors. This is by far the most interesting and intriguing solution but at the same time did arouse some questions. We will talk about those later. First we have to go through the rest of the phone.
Find X Pop-Up Solution
Table of Contents
Design
Design of Oppo Find X is on par with other flagships in 2018. At front it has a dual curved Amoled display from samsung which is covered by Gorilla Glass 5. Just like the front we get Gorilla Glass 5 on the back too while the frame of the phone is made out of aluminium. There are no cameras, buttons or fingerprint sensor at the front or back of the phone which give the phone a clean look. The phone comes in two colour variants including Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue.
OPPO Find X Color Options
Display
Oppo Find X Display
Oppo find X supports a 6.4 inches Amoled display from Samsung which is curved at both side just like we get on Flagships from Samsung. The display resolution is Full HD, it covers the entire front of the smartphone without any interruption which gives it the largest screen to body ratio of 93.85 ever on a smartphone and this makes the viewing experience even better.
Internals
The smartphone houses top of the line specs that are characteristics of a 2018 flagship. First of all it has a Snapdragon 845 an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.8 GHz along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM as well as up to 256GB of on board storage. It has a Adreno 630 for the best gaming experience available. It will come with Android 8.1 out of the box with Oppo’s Color OS 5.1 on top. It has Bluetooth 5.0 but does not have a headphone jack which is unfortunately a feature of flagships these days.
The Pop Up Module
This is where things get interesting. While looking normally at the phone we don’t see a single camera nor any other sensors. That’s because Oppo has hid it in a Pop Up module at the top of the smartphone. Only when we open the camera application or any other third party application that uses camera we see it popping up and down. This raises question about the durability of the phone. Well Oppo claims that they have tested the pop up module up to 300,000 times. So I guess we will have to take their word on that.
Pop-Up Module
Cameras
The phone has a dual camera on the rear which has a 16MP primary camera and a 20MP secondary camera both with an aperture of f/2.0. It will deliver good shots and portraits in the broad daylight but the night shots quality is still in question given small aperture.
The front camera is of 25MP and will have AI beautification capabilities to give you ultimate selfies and portraits.
Fingerprint and 3D Facial Sensors
We can’t find any physical fingerprint sensor in the smartphone because there isn’t.Instead we get a 3D facial recognition hardware along with the front camera. Every time you want to unlock your phone the pop up module comes up recognizes your face and unlocks the phone and all of this happens in 0.5 seconds which is pretty fast. Although we still have concerns about the accuracy of sensors.
3D Facial Recognition Hardware and Front Camera
Battery
For a display that big Oppo has thrown in a pretty decent sized 3750 mAH battery which is going to be charged through USB Type C at the bottom and it also supports Oppo’s proprietary VOOC Flash Charge technology. This technology will help the smartphone to charge upto 50% in half an hour which is pretty good.
Reservations With Pop-Up Design
This new Pop-UP design with moving parts does look futuristic and exciting but with the mobility comes two of the main concerns about the protection of the smartphone.
First with the camera moving in and out you can’t really make the phone water and dust resistant neither Oppo Find X is. So the phone has no IP rating which means you can’t risk taking it near water or and sandy places. Kind of a bummer actually for a flagship in 2018.
Second problem is the design of a protective case for the smartphone. Because the pop up module moves from top as well as the side which makes it kind of difficult for case manufacturers.
Oppo Find X
Price
Oppo is teasing the phone on social media in Pakistan but price still has not been announced. The phone will probably go on sale with a price tag of more than Rs 90,000.
